A new version has been released for the Amazon WooCommerce plugin. In this version we have listened to our customers and added some nice features.

Different price for Amazon

In the previous versions of the Amazon WooCommerce plugin, the price of the WooCommerce product was automatically taken to Amazon. It was not possible to adjust the price towards Amazon.

We have now added an option to the product settings, that you can override the WooCommerce price. In that way, the price on Amazon can be different from the price in WooCommerce. This feature supports both regular and sale price in Amazon with option to set the sale price for limited period only.

Linking Amazon products to WooCommerce

If you already sell products on Amazon and later start using our Amazon WooCommerce plugin or later start your own WooCommerce webshop, you would like to have the existing products on Amazon linked with the products in WooCommerce.

In the previous versions, a product with the same EAN, ASIN or other product code was added as duplication. Or in other words not linked to the Amazon product that already existed.

In version 1.3.0, you can automatically link these existing Amazon products based on the SKU, which is known in Amazon. We’ve added a field in the settings for this, just like the product codes, so that you can retrieve the relevant SKU from any field in WooCommerce.

Variable products

Until recently, you could only publish a Simple product to the Amazon marketplace. As of September 17 – in version 1.2.0 – we already supported the product type Variable products. However, we haven’t announced this yet, hence an addition to this blog post: variable products are now also supported!

Here’s how to make use of version 1.3.0
