What are variations?
Van der Meer has products with multiple variations. A bag of dog food in with different contents (e.g. 500 gram, 1 kilogram and 2,5 kilogram). It would be nice to have those variations imported as a variable product in WooCommerce, instead of having a lot of separate simple products.
Recognition of variations
Luckily, Van der Meer has a nice logic to recognise parent products and its variations by using following numbers in their XML feed.

The Van der Meer WooCommerce plugin imports variable products automatically if a following number is present in the XML feed of Van der Meer.
